‘All Spent’ a unique stoneware sculpture
All Spent is one of my larger figurative pieces, and is an accumulation of many life sketches. I always have a sketch book with me and like to grab the opportunity to draw someone asleep, it could be a family member or stranger opposite me on the train.
All Spent has been purposefully glazed in thin layers which follow the contours of the face as if it has being drained of all energy.
The figure stands at 25cm high, 21.5cm wide and 14.5cm deep.
